Recycled & Made with care
Not all blankets are made the same! These blankets are skillfully crafted at a small, family-run knitting mill located on the East Coast. Made with an impressively heavy weight blend of 80% recycled cotton and 20% acrylic, they provide luxurious warmth and coziness unlike anything else!
Centuries of craft
This knitting mill has been in the same family for over 100 years! Today it is run by a small, dedicated team that I work closely with to design and produce each blanket. The blankets are made in small batches by expert craftspeople who seriously know how to make the coziest blankets ever.
There are very few of these types of mills still left here in the US. Supporting small, family-run mills helps sustain local communities, preserve traditional craftsmanship, and empower sustainable and ethical practices.
Super cozy!
The blankets are made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% acrylic, combining warmth, comfort and sustainability. All amazing things!
The recycled cotton feels soft and smooth on the skin, offering a super cozy experience. It allows air to circulate, preventing overheating and ensuring a comfortable sleep. Cotton also wicks away moisture, keeping sleepers cool and dry. Plus, cotton blankets are durable and get even softer with each wash.
Because the cotton is recycled, it needs to be combined with a sturdy material. In this case we use 20% acrylic thread. It mimics the softness of natural fibers while offering extra durability and flexibility, making it the perfect match for blending with cotton. These blankets are truly outstanding!

Why I love making recycled blankets
Bringing joy to people's day-to-day lives through functional art is incredibly fulfilling for me. I find immense happiness in designing playful and distinctive blanket patterns that add cheer to homes, all while ensuring they are responsibly made and sourced to protect the environment
