This mural is in Torrie and Will’s beautiful backyard in the North Park neighborhood. Their house is a classic example of 1920s Craftsman architecture and we wanted to create something that complemented the style of the home as well as their exquisite garden.
I came up with the idea of a landscape featuring California poppies (the state flower), utilizing simple lines and muted colors. The result is this calm and relaxing garden mural that creates an inviting backyard backdrop.
